InBrace Procedure

How Does InBrace Work?

InBrace is an easy and effective solution for hidden braces! The InBrace process is as high-tech and streamlined as the appliance itself. Our Thornton InBrace provider, Dr. Brandon Scheer, can treat all types of bite issues, from mild to severe, with this behind-the-teeth orthodontic solution. If you’re considering InBrace for yourself or your child, read on to learn more about the procedure or schedule a complimentary consultation at Shine Orthodontics today!

InBrace Steps

Step1

Toothprint™

To get your InBrace Toothprint™, Dr. Scheer takes quick, comfortable digital scans and creates a virtual 3D model of your mouth. The Toothprint will be used to personalize your Smartwires to your individual anatomy.

Step 2

Design Your Smile

Dr. Scheer digitally designs your new smile. InBrace’s advanced computer modeling and AI algorithms then program your Smartwires with Gentleforce® technology to shift your teeth into place according to Dr. Scheer’s treatment plan.

Step 3

Fitting

When your InBrace is ready, you’ll come to the Shine Orthodontics office. Dr. Scheer will bond the brackets to the back of your teeth and fit you with your personalized Smartwires. You’ll leave our office InBraced. But, since treatment is invisible, no one will know you’re straightening your teeth – unless you tell them.

Live Your Life as Your Smartwires do Their Thing

It’s crucial to take care of your smile during braces treatment in order to prevent dental issues like tooth decay, gum disease and demineralization. If untreated, these issues can lead to serious oral health problems and could even prolong your treatment. At first, brushing and flossing with braces can be a little bit challenging. However, we promise, you’ll get the hang of it in no time.
