How Does Invisalign Work?

After taking digital impressions with our iTero® scanner, a virtual, 3D model of your mouth is created. Dr. Scheer plans out your treatment on this model and sends the specifications to the Invisalign lab, where the series of aligners are printed out according to his prescription.
The aligners fit over your teeth and exert steady, gentle pressure to move them into their ideal positions. Not only are the aligners comfortable, they’re also virtually undetectable. You’ll wear your aligners for about 22 hours per day for optimal results. However, they can be removed for eating, brushing, flossing and even special events, making them a convenient smile solution.
